Summer 2000 House Improvements (with pictures)

08/26/2000

Summer Improvements

The active chapter of PIKE is working to rebuild the house and we need your help. Here's what we have accomplished so far this summer:

  1. The entire inside of the house has been painted a clean white color.
  2. The bathroom has been stripped and is being remodeled complete with new tile and accessories.
  3. Thanks to a generous contribution form the Rold and Madison families, the main room has been completely re-furnished.
  4. The trophy case has been rebuilt.
  5. The front yard has been completely landscaped. Thanks to generous donations from the Madison and Kerry families, a new lawn and plants have been added to the landscape of the house.
  6. The house has been professionally cleaned.
  7. A new brick walkway has replaced the old cement path leading to the entrance of the house. (It's not too late to buy a personalized brick. Call Adam Madison at (602) 339-1207)

As you can see, the house is looking better each week. We are definitely moving back to the top in the greek community. We cannot do it alone, however. We need your help. The new active classes are willing to put forth the effort to help keep the Pi Kappa Alpha tradition going for years to come. If you can help in any way we would be extremely grateful.

Improvements are taking place all summer long. If you can lend a hand financially or otherwise please call Adam Madison at (602) 339-1207

The active chapter of PIKE, would like to thank the following people for their contributions to the house:

Dan Madison
Colin Moon
Jason Moon
Mark McKibben
Kerry Kelly

These men are not PIKEs but spent their own time and money to help rebuild our house.
