SUCCESSFUL FALL RUSH09/03/1999 Fall 1999 Rush started last Sunday night August 29th. After 900 intially signed up this year, only 375 finally accepted bids. Gamma Delta has 38 new pledges. Pledges hometowns include Memphis, Portland, Tucson, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Washington, San Diego and Northern California. Several athletes are among the high calibur of pledges with 3 redshirt freshman football players, a linebacker and 2 safeties, a member of the Golf team and a former Cal football player. These new members were rushed with scholarship and philanthrophy to be key areas of focus this semester. The guys are in the 1525 East Drachman house and are really fired up for the start of the new year. |
